Why the long wait?
Universal and Nolan kept the film in theaters for about four months, the same window Oppenheimer had. With box-office numbers this big, there was no rush to bring it home.
What's it about?
Christopher Nolan adapts Homer's ancient epic: after the Trojan War, Odysseus (Matt Damon) spends years fighting monsters, gods and the sea to get home to Ithaca, where his wife Penelope and son face a palace full of rivals.

Our tip
If it's still playing near you, see it in IMAX. It was made for the biggest screen possible.
